Thank you for giving voice to how we are feeling today, and the permission to feel all the feelings, without shame or judgment. Yes, we stay woke, and tremble, and press on, and do not die. Much love.

So glad to have subscribed. Thank you for being TRUE journalists and storytellers of lived experience. At least I have one thing to look forward to in this worst timeline.

Thank you. The whole FAFO meme appalls me. Because, as you so accurately wrote, the people doing the finding out are never the ones deserving the hit.

Not enough monsters die impoverished, sick, imprisoned, slain in war.

And it burns me inside how white people are always there to take the racist monster's side when the crunch comes.

[Yes, you guessed right, I am not Black]

Well written and reminiscent of the strength given by that old negroid spiritual..."I wish a mutha**cka would!" Don't die y'all.

I watched and listened to the “For Such a Time as This” Interfaith Service and Moral Mass Meeting in Memphis last night. Rev William Barber was keynote. He struck similar themes. He noted that the new administration’s intention is to bankrupt the government so that when we get it back we’ll have no more resources to draw from to restore the breach from. So not dying is essential but if we don’t die this is what we’ll be left with to rebuild from. (This is my understanding of what Rev Barber said so if I misunderstood, it’s on me not on him.)
