This post is more evidence that Black folks have been shining a guiding light since the beginning while White resentment and envy sabotages and undermines everyone, even them. Our foresight, inventiveness, and intelligence must be a powerful threat.

Being born and raised in North Carolina, my parents and other elders always stated that segregation took away our wealth. We had our own schools, colleges, churches, doctors grocery and clothing stores and lost most of it because of it. This is a very good article. Thank you.
