So helpful! And also messy and frustrating. Thanks so much.

This was a great conversation. The new DNC leadership should listen to this. Thanks!!

Great interview & fascinating info from Lakshya Jain. I'm never sure if I'm progressive or not, not really sure I care. I know I'm liberal but try to look at the issues from multiple sides. I'm a raised-in-the-south gun owner who wants smart, common sense gun laws, not taking away ALL the guns from anyone (knowing that would never happen)! Easy for me to see why the Dems go after white votes since so many white voters went to Trump v. majority of Black voters for Kamala. But I see the larger problem of the party needing better representation in candidate advisors to understand and represent the younger electorate. thanks for this! You consistently put out great content. Gonna need to watch this again.

Defund the police is a red herring, the police get pushed as a solution for problems caused by poverty and under-employment. Jobs programs, universal healthcare and solid mental health care should be prioritized over a police that are routinely over invested in.

I’m so down with this truth..

What an informative conversation!

To add:

1.Americans don't like women.

2. Why would they vote for a black woman then?

3. Genocide is not part of a good platform, Michael.

Defund the Pentagon!

I am 76 years old. I've seen many elections. I know this was a discussion about data. However, it is extremely limited when one only looks at the Democrat/Republican dichotomy.

Some ideas:

1. How did the genocide in Gaza matter to huge groups of voters? Killing and arming a real genocide is NOT a good look. Biden stubbornly hanging around was a huge gift to Republicans

2. Why do so many folks always stick to the narrow ideas?

3. How about the impacts of finance corruption, Citizen's United?

4. Georgia is a major hotbed of Republican voter disenfranchisement operations. This is true of the entire south.

Look into the work of Greg Palast.

5. False media narratives are a dreadful influence. That's where most of the fake news is generated.

6. Racism is still a huge issue in the US.

Folks that use the terms left and right NEED to define their references. There are ZERO real leftists in the Democratic Party. No, Bernie is not.

WA state real leftist here. I read a lot of books. We met in Seattle. Voted for Stein/Ware. 📚

Had me till Stein/Ware. Stein a deeply bad force because she knows better, or should—took advantage of pain, anguish, & disinformation. Again.

WA state is a 100% Democatic State. We are NOT a swing state.

We seriously need to unite into a huge 3rd party. Whatever errors the Greens make are nothing compared to what these ps

Psychopaths are NEVER gonna fix this problem. Vote shaming isn't relevant. One citizen, 1 vote!

Look up Greg Palast. He thinks the Thugs did election fraud this time.

I go back a long time. One of the old thug lines is voter fraud. It's a deflection from THEIR skullduggery.

Kamala:

1. Many US Americans hate women.

2. Many US Americans are racist, hate black or any mixed race person.

3. Joe Biden helped the thugs by not leaving early enough for Dems. to have a sufficient primary.

4. Perhaps most importantly, Ms. Harris refused to distance from Joe's genocide. That tainted her BIG TIME. Chasing money shouldn't be one's 1st priority.

Maybe if Cornel West had been willing to unite with Jill and Butch Ware, we could have made some progress toward better policies and racial unity.

My vote, my opinion. Thanks. ☺️

Oh dear. Not able to abide Cornel West either. I do appreciate his important book from the early 1990s.

Great interview. Truly thought provoking! Looking forward to being pleasantly surprised by all of the other topics that you’ll bring to contraband camp.

I wish this conversation had also addressed the felonious gangster president’s savvy appeal to crips in the Bronx, and successful wooing of celebrity Snoop Dogg with well-chosen pardons.

Great conversation. Question, rural areas are typically low population, would data have to be done collectively from state-state ? County-county? How would that work?
